If you have received a letter from the Ministry of Transportation, we can help.
The first step in this process is forwarding the letter that you received from the Ministry. Once we have reviewed the letter we can determine what steps need to be completed in order to satisfy their requirements. Keep in mind that we do not work for the Ministry of Transportation.
We offer a complete range of services to help you meet the requirements outlined by the Ministry of Transportation. Below is a description of our services with the associated fees.
Assessment Services $500.
There are several types of assessments required by the Ministry.
The diagnostic assessment includes a complete alcohol and or drug history. A diagnoses, treatment recommendation, blood work (MCV and GGT interpretation) and a letter to the Ministry on your behalf.
The recovery assessment includes an evaluation of recovery, blood work (MCV and GGT Interpretation), and confirmation of treatment completions.
Treatment Referrals $125
This service includes finding the correct treatment for your needs. The treatment referral also includes filling out the appropriate forms for admission.
Out-Patient Treatment Services $125/Session
This service is an out patient treatment program based on a 6 session minimum in order to meet the Ministry's requirement for successfully attending a treatment program. This program includes alcohol and drug education, relapse prevention, community supports, Individual counselling and stress management.
Follow-up Treatment or Aftercare $85/Session
This service provides 6 one hour sessions as a minimum to satisfy the requirements of the Ministry. Laboratory blood work is included with this service. You have the option to continue beyond the 6 sessions.
Ministry of Transportation requested Follow-up $225
This service most often takes place one year following the initial assessment and is requested by the Ministry of Transportation. We conduct the interview, blood work (MCV and GGT Interpretation), and a letter to the Ministry on your behalf.
Consultations with other Professionals $125
These consultations include letter writing and phone calls to other professionals on your behalf. i.e. Lawyers, Physicians and any related third party.
